Composition I

Theme:

Darwin's theory of evolution-"Struggle for existence and survival of the
fittest" using Skewers (Unconventional material for Ikebana)
Materials used:

    Skewers

    Chrysanthemum(green)

    Statice (yellow)

    Blue Daisy Flowers.

Explanation

The composition consists of 3 units asymmetrical to each other.

Unit I bigger in size to accommodate maximum struggle.
Unit II comparatively smaller than unit one where less competition
    prevails than unit one.

Unit III tallest with least completion.

All three units are connected by ladder to show connectivity.

Using unconventional material, asymmetry and connectivity are principles

of Ikebana.

Here Human males are personified with blue colour more in number since in the

world men/Women ratio is 1016:1000(2022) and females with orange colour.
After the struggle for existence in the base unit I few are chosen who will climb
to reach unit II through the ladder. The very few who still survive in the struggle
climb through the ladder to the Unit III where lot of "room at the top" (an English Idiom).

"Struggle for existence and survival of the fittest" is Mother Nature's tool
to maintain equilibrium. Natural calamities and only few seeds and
embryos reaching the adulthood are few examples.
